Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we hold it to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
The site uses semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks and labels; every image has a text alternative; every control can be reached and operated from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator; text and interface colours meet AA contrast (brass is used only for decorative rules and never for text); animation respects your system’s reduced-motion setting; and pages are checked with automated tools (axe) on every route and with a keyboard as it is built.
Third-party components
The booking widget (StrixBook) and the embedded map (Google Maps) are provided by other companies. We have chosen them with accessibility in mind, but we cannot fully control them. If either gives you trouble, telephone or email us and we will take your booking or give directions ourselves.
Tell us
If something on this site does not work for you, please tell us so we can fix it. Contact details are on the Visit page; say what page you were on and what happened, and we will get back to you.
